In the desert of Oman we are planning to install an RO unit for drinking water production from well water. The well water is pumped up and stored in an aboveground (insulated) storage tank. Despite of the insulation the fear exists that water can reach 'high' temperatures, certainly during standstill in the pipes. As far as I am informed the maximum temperatures that these membranes can handle is around 40/45 degC (say 110 F).
Can anyone tell me whether this is indeed the maximum temperature or are there membranes available that can stand higher temperatures? If so, can you inform me about manufacturer/membranespecification?

Many thanks,
Henry
