what is "cliameter" in suction test for clays

armytm/tm5-818-7/a-b.pdf>>, "cliameter" has been mentioned (page B-4, para 4)but I do not know what that means or what is its function and the article does not explain anything. Please help.

That is a typo. It should say "diameter".
