What is Stopfbuchsenschrauben, Gland bolts ??
What do they look like?
This is workrelated.
Probably not the right place to ask, but it's Friday and I feel a little lazy winky smile

Probably any bolt used to retain a seal gland.

Could it be these that are referred to?

The reason I asked was that I was given the task of setting up preventive maintenance for all personal safety points on our hydraulic presses based on all machine and work environment laws and in the supplier's safety test protocol it only said
General: Gland bolts?
I did not know what they looked like or what it was. I'm primarily an electrician/programmer, not a hydraulic or mechanic, even though I read that too, our hydraulics or mechanics did not know what was meant either.

Best regards Anna

I would say yes. The bolts provide the force to compress the packing to form a seal around the inserted tube.

Otherwise this a bolt and flange arrangement to hold the elbow fitting in place.

It's the one at the red arrow.

Any set screw, bolt, stud to retain a gland or retaining plate as in hydtools first post.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
