Hello everybody,

I work on the code EN 1993-1-10 and I don't find any documentation to let to know how define and calulate the "degree of cold forming (DCF) in percent", and especially in case of a 90° folded sheet.

On part 2.3.1 in the code, a correctiv term DTe is corresponding to DT(°C)= -3*e with e: degree of cold-forming in percent.
Could you please help me to define the value of the degree e, and help me to know if I have to replace the value of e in percent or not in the equation of DT?

Thank you for your responses.

e is defined in section 1.3 (1.3.7) as the residual strain from cold forming measured in percent.

Maybe you can find some litterature on how to calculate the strain, but I figure it might be dependent on the method used, bending, roll forming or other methods.
