Hi, yesterday I got this error. The laser Mitsubishi LV-CFX40 was running fine before my lunch. After lunch, I tried to cut a small hole 0.12” using line and encountered this error. Then I tried to use line 8 as I cut parts before lunch but the error still occurred. Restart the laser didn’t help. I switched to use the cutting table for 0.020” thickness then it ran fine. Switch back to the cutting table for 0.040” and got the error again. I then saved the 0.020” over the 0.040” and the error didn’t occur. Do you know the cause? Both 0.020 and 0.040 cutting tables are almost identical, just different a little bit in cutting speed.

DR Control Alarm means a condition feedrate, power, frequency or duty is out of range to effectively modulate the power. Looking at your picture, Condition Line 6 is almost uses the same power as condition 7. Power on condition 6 should be 2200 Watts.

DRC means Dross Reduction Control. Typically when you cut with N2 on Steel and Stainless, you get burr/dross on the corners and where the leadin meets the contour. To solve this, power is modulated by speed/acceleration. During acceleration/speed up power ramps up, Deceleration power ramps down.

The attached document will explain more in depth the rules for using DRC. You can also turn off DR Control in your cut condition as well if you feel you don't need it.

&laserkatana: I used line 6 to cut the holes and line 8 to cut the rest. Then I used line 4 to cut the holes and got that error. Switched back line 6 but the error still occurred, even restarted the laser. Do you know why?
