Does anyone know what this mechanism is called? The mechanism is used in cordless drills to prevent rotation when you tighten the chuck.

I am trying to find any design guidelines for this mechanism.

This one below I removed from a Xiaomi Wowstick electric screwdriver. The parts seem to be sintered or metal injection molded.

This is not a cam clutch or an over-running clutch.

I don't know what this thing is called but by googling the suggestions above I am now sure that this is not:

- an over-running clutch
- a cam clutch
- a sprag clutch
