What steel design check to perform

What design check should I perform for a HSS member due to a through bolt in tension? What comes to mind is web yielding.
Anyone knows how to perform such check? This is actually an aluminium section, but steel checks are welcome.

being Aluminum you should follow the Aluminum Design Manual or other applicable standards depending on your local.

Aluminium responds quite different to steel. I don’t think its appropriate to swap one check for the other.

What is the load path? What are the failure mechanisms?

Those are the two questions I would ask myself before starting the design. Look into Packer's HSS connection design book and research material.
