What things to check scaffolding loads on tall column

i have 73 m tall column. Client is putting up scaffolding on one side of column(as shown in the attached picture). Scaffolding company has done some calculation, and gave wind force at the tie in points and overall moment at the base.

Client now want to check this thing.

Any one having similar experience, kindly advice. I was thinking of doing whole modelling and calculation on pvelite,then applying these loading at point loads and the overall moment on column. Is my approach right?

A couple of thoughts (other than this doesn't seem like a good idea, but I'd be willing to see what the numbers say)
- don't use the factored loads provided to you - request the unfactored loads and then use the methodologies available in the pressure vessel Code to determine suitability
- make sure to consider all of the possible loading conditions on the vessel. Is this scaffolding going to be installed when the vessel is live? If so, have you considered both internal and external pressure cases?
 
It is not so much the (predicted) added loads, but the total loads on the tower.

The original tower loading may have been figured for a round, near-naked tower with minimal extrusions and little extra piping. (No ladders, platforms, wide stairways) Original Coefficient of air resistance could have approached that of a round, smooth cylinder pipe sticking up vertical (1.0 factor).

Now, from certain directions, you have a messy square block almost three times the original twice the square area down low, twice the original cross section up high. Much more air resistance up high.

In even the least area wind direction, you now have a much higher coef of wind flow (higher coed of resistance).
 
some states/AHJ require PE stamps on scaffolds exceeding a specific height.
 
Scaffolds shall be self supported, no loads to the tower.
