What's difference between Global and Project calendar?

Hi,

I don't understand why list so many calendar: global, project, and resource. What the purpose of these terms ?

The Global calendar contains calendars that can be used by all projects are available for all resources and activities

Project calendar
Contains a separate calendar dedicated for each project and available for the current project only

Sometimes I am confused by so many different calendars.

BTW, after the schedule finished in a project management team, the next step is print the plan and send to different engineers to review, or just submit to manager?
