Engage is the movement of the cutter as it starts the cut, usually done a slower feedrate than the actual cutting. It is usually preceeded by a rapid move to a point close, but clear of the part. Most machines will process a 3-axis move to this point in 2 steps, the XY move, then the Z move.

Retract is how the tool moves away from the part after the cutting is finished. If done in Rapid mode, the Z axis is moved first, then the XY move.

Thank you very much

Can I Make a counter without retract , i mean i want to continuously move in z without make retract
is it possible?

Yes, It's possible. If you do Z level operation then select strategy as mixed. select transfer method between within regions as direct. It's for contour machining not for cavity mill. If you want continuous path in cavity mill select the engage retract with previous level but it'll generate according to part geometry

How can i find (select transfer method between within regions as direct) ?

gani009 thank you i find it

But can i make it in cavity mill im trying to make it ?

Yes, You can do it by change the height from current level in closed area engage. but It's not advisable. It gives more cutter load on engage.
