What's the normal operating temperature of bearings? 2

I have very little knowledge on bearings and would like to understand the above.

1150 deg. C sounds like a typo to me.

1150C is probably the melting temperature of steel. I think your bearing is in trouble long before the steel melts.

The 1150 is a typo. It should read 150!. This is the treshold used by all german manufacturers (i.e. FAG, INA, etc.). Sorry!
