Hi,
I met a problem, which needs to know the friction factor between steel and concrete. I used 0.4, but someone said it's the maximum value and not saft for calculation. So I wonder the range. Does anyone know it?

Thank you!

Hi,
I used to hear about it: somebody here in Italy make the assumption that the contact is similar to steel-to-sanded-steel, i.e. 0.3 (following old norm UNI-ISO 10011, for example). I know nothing more precise.

Regards
