NO
When will Windows font be available NX?
1. The NX fonts looks terrible
2. Hard to collaborate files from other systems e.g. when a customer provides a template he requires. Lot of work adapting text etc.

Use the attached Font Factory to convert truetype fonts into NX fonts and it solves your problem. Then put the FNX file into the %UGII_BASE_DIR%\UGII\ugfonts folder and then it can be used in drafting.

NX4.0.4MP10, NX5.0.0->5.0.6, NX6.0.0->NX6.0.5, NX7.0.0->NX7.0.1 & NX7.5.0.32-> NX7.5.2.5

The next version of NX will support TrueType fonts when creating drawings and anywhere else that characters in 'NX font' were used, such as in sketching and PMI. Note that existing drawings will still show the old NX fonts when first opened, but you can edit them assigning a new TrueType font or you can choose to leave them as is. And at least for foreseeable future, you will be able to continue to use NX fonts if you wish to and even mix and match them in new part files, despite the fact that the out-of-the-box default will now be TrueType fonts.

Thanks a lot, both of you!
I will try the work-around first since we're stuck with the NX6 cause of PTC WindChill as the PDM system..... too heavy integration work!

If you work using europeean character sets, try the Latin extended font. It is very similar to the europeean standards. And better looking than the ootb blockfont.

Tomas
