Div 1 group B is your problem.

Do you need it to be Div 1, or can it be Div 2?

It needs to be Div 1, but I am open to suggestions if you have another idea.

Get rid of the hydrogen...

...or get rid of the Div 1 (normally hazardous) area classification (i.e. move the device)...

...or replace with an air motor.

Otherwise you may be on a long hunt, especially if you need inverter duty.

If it's not inverter duty, I believe they can be found, but can't recall the last one we bought.

I have seen applications where the Group B is from ceiling to within a couple ft of floor and ventilated with fans outside the air stream.

What horsepower?
If over 200 hp, what voltage?
I have not done electrical power in a very long time.

Perhaps small motors could apply reduced ratings with NFPA 496 purge applications. This could be no surprise with 2 hp. Each order of magnitude larger could thin some purge applications. Purging fractional hp motors could be practical.
