No, not really. None are the same or provide near enough funtionality. INTELLICAD is close but no cigar, but it's pretty cheap (used to be free, don't know now)
You might also look into PowerCAD from Give Me Power. It's available in two or three levels, is fairly inexpensive, and it can handle AutoCAD files. It's known as Felix in some parts of the world.
They have free CAD programs (2D & 3D) available.
TurboCad was free at one time and I believe that it can still be found for free, somewhere on the Internet.
I remember learning TurboCAD in school. It was easy to use, but limited since it IS only 2D. Gonna go check out the V4 Learning Edition, tho. Thx MikeMillburn.
