DEAR ALL,
I am doing whipping analysis in ANSYS. in order to carry out analysis I have pressures calculated from CFD at each time interval .(i.e. from Star ccm software) .My aim is to calculate the vertical bending moment (VBM) amidships, from literature survey I understood that I have to remove still water moment in order to get VBM.
Anybody has any information on how to remove the still water moment from pressures obtained in CFD.
In one of my trail I have subtracted static pressure (rho*g*h) from total pressure at each time instant, is it correct approach?
Kindly guide for same
