I notice that if I am in a session for a long period of time that the option to right mouse button "copy" a component will eventually disappear. Does it run out of memory to do the function or?

Additionally, I have noticed a similar behavior in NX 5 and 6 in drafting. After so long, I can't copy-paste a view, text or whatever from one drawing sheet to another. The copy function is there, but when I do the paste command nothing happens. After a session restart it will work again (for a while).

You'll probably find that some clever programmer has decided to check the memory allocation before allowing the copy function. I guess if NX already has a sizeable amount of the system memory used up that you simply don't have space on the clipboard.

It may not even be that but it is typical behaviour for several versions now.
