Does anyone know how to make the mouse controls the same in wildfire as they are in 2001?
Thanks,

This has been asked MANY TIMES.

To the best of my knowledge, it cannot be done.

After getting used to the new scheme, I actually like it better.

One feature which seems to be missing in Wildfire is that when you hold down the ALT key as well as the CTRL key while assembling a new part in 2001 you could drag and rotate the part you were assembling independently of the rest of the model. Sometimes the drag works, but the rotate doesn't seem to ever work. I hope I'm wrong and just was on a badly setup computer.

Incidentally the rotation in wildfire is far better than 2001 thanks to the ability, with the roll center turned off, to rotate the model about the point you pick on the screen instead of the centroid of the part envelope.

I miss the click zoom area of 2001. The first day I really struggled with the mouse. But now I love the scroll wheel zoom. I use this for panning; scroll out, reorientate mouse over feature area, and scroll in to zoom in. And, I was really missing the rotation (roll - off) center in ProE that I had on other softwares. I like to click on a part and spin exactly on what I am looking at.
So, I think mouse in Wildfire is two to one against mouse in 2001. I would get a scroll mouse (mine was $10) and "try it, you'll like it" in Wildfire.
