Hey all,
I would like to upgrade my OS to XP but would this inhibit the use of Solid Works PLUS?

Thanks,

Contact your VAR, check the SW Website. If it does you can create a dual boot setup. That will allow you to have XP on your comp but still be able to logon under 98 to use SW.

Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. And scratch where it itches.

I tried this once and SW was buggy. If you can, I suggest updating to XP Pro and SW 05.

SW 2001+ is supported after you install service pack 5.

We ran for 3 years (until we upgraded to 2005) with XP Pro and 2001+SP5 (and higher) with very few problems.

It seems I have the highest service pack for 2001+ so it's OS upgrade time.

Thanks all!

What processor are you running? Because some old K6 AMD chips are not support by SWx past 2000.
