Hi Guys,
I am trying to analyze an advertising billboard with panel size of 14m x 4m. Following ASCE 7-10 for solid signs, wind load is calculated as three cases. (1) 86 kN concentric load (2) 86 kN eccentric 2.8m and (3) 38, 25, 17 kN each on width of 4m and 8 kN on width of 2m.
I tried to model this on SAP2000. Can someone please help me on modeling case B and C. Ideally, I want to consider all three cases in a single model so that I can compare the reactions in three cases along with making sure that structural members pass all the cases.
I have attached an image of the model and the wind load cases.
