Wind pressure during construction

Will you please tell me the procedure to be adopted for arriving at the wind pressure for building (height <60) during construction & reference for the same.

There are many factors that must be considered for a building under construction (for wind). If the structure was originally analylized as a partially enclosed structure or an open structure the difference probably would not be significant.

I don't have code right now. I have a precast building of 80' x 80' and height is less than 60'.

Will you please indicate the parameters involved and load combinations to be used ?

What you need is ASCE 7-98 or ASCE 7-02, without one of these you can not do an evaluation because you access to the presure coefficients.

Get a copy of ASCE 37-02 &quot;Design Loads on Structure During Construction&quot;. It has chapter 6 &quot;Environmental Loads&quot; which includes wind, snow and seismic.

About wind it says that for construction period less than 6 weeks load may be multiplied by 0.75, for construction period of 6 weeks to 1 year load may be multiplied by 0.8, etc.
