I have recently upgraded my home pc to windows 7
I'm running Terramodel V 10.61 with geocomp updates
I have no trouble with my work pc using Windows xp
But at home with Windows 7 the cursor/crosshairs start
Flashing as soon as I open a file of reasonable size i.e. 1meg or more.
I have updated my Graphics card drivers (nvidia gsx9800)
and my logitec Mouse drivers all to suit Windows 7 but to no avail.
Also when we upgraded I added 140 meg of ram She wont take any more captain.
Help me Scotty????

I am curious if you tried running the software in compatibility mode? Right click the icon, properties, and then compatibility tab.

I was able to get some funky Dos stuff working (SU the muddy boots guys) in a lot of OS's by playing around with the way the software is opened.

Thanks for the compatibility mode suggestion
However it makes no difference.
I have since discovered that the plan orientation is what’s causing the trouble,
In terramodel you can set which ever bearing you like to be up the page not nessecarily 0 degrees.
This helps in fitting odd angled blocks of land on the sheet and helps visually
when drafting text to get a good looking product.
However this angels the cursor to the screen which was no problem with xp but in windows 7 it causes the cursor to flash as its dragged around.
I think ill just have to work around it till nvidia improve their graphics card drivers for windows 7.
