I need some clarification on this;
In AC 150/5340-30G; Figure 126(FAA), Standard Details for Taxiway Hold and Guidance Sign (Page 254).
What does the Wire Mesh 6” x 6”[15cm x 15cm] No.6 means? I know the 6” x 6” is the spacing of the wires but what I need to understand is the No.6.

I don't have a copy of the document you reference, but the following is the typical definition of the WWR style/nomenclature:

So for your case "6x6-W6xW6" would be plain (undeformed) wires at 6" long't and trans spacing, with each wire of cross sectional area of 0.060 in²

The "6" is the gauge (size) of the wire. It is usually the same in both directions but can be different as noted by Ingenuity
