Wire Pulley realistic Dynamic Modeling 1

Dear Experts,
Iam working on a project in which i have to study the dynamics of the Pulley wire mechanism.
The material of the wire is nonlinear.
I have the following questions:
1)Is it possible in Adams to model and run dynamic simulation of Pulley with nonlinear wire.
2)How to model a pulley in adams.
3)How to model a nonlinear wire without runtime error.

2)Obvious
3)Tricky - model it as a series of cylindrical or spherical parts joined by non linear springs. You then need to define contacts both between themselves and the pulley.

If you can't do 2 then don't even try 3

Computation time is likely to be enormous.

What runtime errors do you have? Chances are you have a lot of unconstrained degrees of freedom.

Incidentally building the cable is likely to be easier in a text editor than the GUI.
