Hi, all!

I have 120V AC and 24V DC power sources to be terminated at a small control panel (installed locally).
Do I have to use separate terminal blocks to terminate above 120V AC 1phase 2 wire and 24V DC 2 wire (both are not shielded) cables?

Or can I terminate side by side on the same terminal strip.
That is if I have 10 terminal strip, if I use 1-2 for 120V and 3-4 for 24V DC will it be acceptable per NEC.

Please advice me which article of NEC spells this out!

Thanks,

No code requirements for separation so long as insulation of terminals and conductors are both greater than the higher voltage.

gigahertz is correct - for anything up to 1000V.

Suggestion: It depends what you have on 24VDC. The 120VAC may add some noise to it, which may be found objectionable.
