Say its done no oil needed as fuel.
What would that do to the price of lubricating oil and grease?
That is when oil would compete with precious metals.
Then what about super inflation because of it? All machinery needs lubrication oils and greases.
Imagine a small container of sewing machine oil costing $100.
Plastic? No more plastic toys, as its cost would compete with gold.
Extracting oil from the ground and refining it cost a lot of money. How will that cost be recouped, with no large quantity of liquid fuels being sold?
And what happens to the lighter ends of the refining process? You know gasoline and diesel? Just pour it back into the well?
