Every month in the mail I receive a number of magazines related to specific industries that involve structural engineering. Structure Magazine and Modern Steel Construction come to mind. I am wondering if there are any publications that deal specifically with wood engineering that I may be missing. I am already receiving SBC Magazine that deals with the component industry as well as the newsletter from Simpson Strong-Tie.

I think it would be really cool if there was a publication that dealt specifically with engineering residential wood structures, but I don't know if such a publication exists.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

There are a lot of good articles in Journal of Light Construction

Don't forget about email subscriptions from AWC and others. That is how I get most of my news.
