I use the Wood Frame Construction Manual (WFCM) as a design resource when designing residential houses. My question pertains to the rafter span tables. How do these tables account for wind? There are some span tables that include a ground snow load but none that include wind loads. Thanks for any input.

go to the AFPA web site. They have some new publications for use in high wind zones.
