Hello

Could you please explain me what "working distance" option of projetion curve commmand (Digitized Shape Editor WB) does?

This is what I have found in the CATIA Online Documentation:

Projecting Characteristic Lines said:
If the target is a cloud of points, you may set the working distance: the input curve is discretized, and each discretization point is projected on the cloud. The working distance is the distance taken into account around each projection point to compute the output scan.

I need more details about this sentece. After having selected the points in the working distance area, how does CATIA compute the output scan?
The working distance is the distance taken into account around each projection point to compute the output scan.
 
Unfortunately, I am not familiar enough with the Digitized Shape Editor workbench to be able to help you.
Maybe the other members can give more information...
