What exactly do you mean with working temperatures for pressure vessel? Do you have a vessel on your site of which you dont know the operating conditions? Or do you need to know how to determine working temperatures for pressure vessel design?

Hi

We are nordic country and I want to know can you use pressure vessel with minimum working temperature is -20 or it should be at least -30.

That totally depends on the site conditions, and (to some extent) how the pressure vessel is operated.
If it e.g. is designed such that pressure can only be present when the temperature is say 0°C (e.g. by means of tracing), that may be of help when the site minimum temperature is much lower than 0°C.

See the required code of pressure vessel in Estona.

Regards

There are not that kind of code. I am working as in service inspector and I know.

FYI MJCronin, it's filed under 'Cofeve'

If your vessel is located outside, then google search record minimum temperature in your area.
Or simply depressurise the pressure vessel when the ambient temperature is less than allowable.

Why do you ask this question?

As for the Codes required if I am not mistaken HSB has a link for International Import Requirements listing most countries with contact information.

But it is the metal temperature that is of interest, not necessarily the air temp...

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

It is Estonia not Estona, I am sorry. I am looking chapter from standard or directive where is described outside working equipment work temperatures. I am grateful for the answers
