Refer to ASME BPVC Section IX, 2007 Edition Para QW-420.2, state that:
1. "material procedure qualification testing was done using
material
assigned an S-Number or S-Number Group Number, the range qualified
is
limited to materials that are assigned S-Numbers or S-Numbers Group
Numbers"
2. "material under ASTM specification shall be considered to have

same S-No or S-No plus Group No as that of the P-No or P-No plus

assign to the same grade or type material in the corresponding ASME
specification"
Refer to ASME BPVC Section IIA, 2007 Edition Para Forward ASTM A-515

Edition is identical with SA-515 2007 Edition.
My question is: May I using WPS that have been qualified with A-515 Gr.
70
to production weld for material SA-516 Gr. 70 without re-qualification
New
WPS?
Note: All of essential variable of WPS are compliance with production
weld
