Wrap a sketch onto a surface 2

Hi,

I'm looking to wrap a sketch onto a surface to so that it retains it's dimensional constraints. ie if I sketch 5 lines with 1mm spacing and project onto a curved surface it should retain 1mm spacing. Right now the project command is just doing the same as extruding the sketch through the surface and giving me the intersection.
