I can't seem to get solidworks to maintain the cell format of "wrap text" when inserting the excel BOM into a drawing. Is there a tools/option check box I'm missing?
Thanks.

sdb999,
Is there a reason you are still using the Excel BOM instead of the SW version?

Which version of SW and Excel?

[cheers]

I created the excel file from one of the standard files supplied with S/W 08' sp0.0, Excel 03' sp2. I'm not using the SW boms because they will not do what I need. Although they format nicely. Figures. Thanks guys.

If you expand upon what you need the SW BOM to do, someone may be able to provide a solution.

I just didn't want this thread to spin off topic. Formating in excel doesn't pass into SolidWorks. I was attempting to do costing totals and the SW boms have several issues. If you include a $ the values are ignored. Summing a column works, but isn't dynamic nor can it be stored in a template. There were a few others but those were the big ones. It may be a service pack issue, but I can't change that at this point.
Thanks.

Sorry to be nit-picky, but $$ shouldn't be on a drawing or BOM anyway.
