I have an attribute that's not in the parts list but in a symbol. How can I wrap that? and they are controlled attributes such as Material.

What exactly were you attempting to 'attach' to this post since the links that we're seeing are all deadends?

You can disregard the attachment it was just a picture of one of our Title Blocks but can you help me with the question?

This is what the 'wrapper' was that I used when I created my title block example:

Note that the attribute name was 'Drn_By' and the numerical value (WRef2) in the first part is just an index that should be unique for the particular file that you're adding these attributes to (it doesn't really matter what number you enter in the text editor as the system will automatically replace it with a unique value when you hit return).

Does this work for NX 7.5.5.4? What I'm doing is taking a Note Symbol
Changing the Category to 'Relationships'
Selecting 'Insert Object Attributes
Selecting the body
and I get this string '<W!37914@MATERIAL>'. But it doesn't wrap the text.
The Parts list will wrap it but my Note Symbol won't.

I think I misunderstood what you meant by 'wrap'. I was thinking of the software term 'wrapper' which implied that you were looking for the format of the command to insert an attribute's text into a symbol.

That being said, I think the ability to 'wrap' text, as in "use multiple lines when the note is too long to fit into the available space as a single line", is only available in places like Parts Lists and Tabular Notes.
