Hello everyone! I have a problem regarding the creation of an assembly in Abaqus/CAE 6.14-4. I generated a 3D model from AutoCAD 2019 end exported it as an ACIS (.sat) file. After I import all the parts into Abaqus, I try to create an assembly from the parts, but the result is as follows:

As You can see, the plates and the bolts aren't in their correct (and original position), as they were in AutoCAD:

How could i fix this problem?

You can use the tools available in Assembly module of Abaqus, like translation, rotation and so on. They allow you to manipulate the position of instances freely. With such a simple model it shouldn't take much time to fix it manually using aforementioned tools.

Thanks in advance for the answers! I preferred to manage the entire model in AutoCAD because i feel better in positioning precisely all the elements (and because I'm not expert yet of Abaqus).

For the .stp file, it's only compatible with AutoCAD Mechanical: unfortunately not my case.
