Dear Aaalllll,

Anybody knows whether the following site : is still accessible ?
I think in one thread, sometimes ago, somebody suggested that you can download for free the mmpds-01 from this site. I guess
now it is not free anymore....
Sparweb, Wktaylor, do you know something about it..?

typed in "MMPDS" in the search Document ID or Title, all you get is a one page document that is a notice telling you where to get it (presumably not for free).

I can upload MMPDS01 to my ftp site if you need it.

i think the idea was to look for MIL HDBK 5 ...

what's your ftp site ?

No hits on MIL HDBK 5 either.

It is my pleasure to allow you to download it here:

You are welcome to take any of those documents there. However, if you want the first version of "MMPDS", take this document in particular:
ar-mmpds-01.pdf

You will need broadband! It's over 76MB in size. Upload took almost 30 minutes on our DSL.

Dear All,

Thanks for the link der8110, so it is not free anymore...

Thanks to you also israelkk, I have just downloaded the MIL-HDBK-5J from the link that you provided...

Thanks for the link prost, can I recommend it to my colleagues ?

Hello rb1957, I don't mean to be ignorant, but I do not know what is my ftp site...

But back to my first question, does anybody know whether the link is still accessible ?

Regards

Anyone and everyone is free to download any of the documents at the website, so by all means, pass it on.

'ftp' means 'file transfer protocol'--I like to think of it as similar to a public mailbox which I can use for exchanging electronic files. The web address is typically something like "ftp://ftp...blah blah blah". I used to have an 'ftp' site but it broke, so our IT guy changed how we transferred files. You open up your Internet Explorer or similar browser, go to my site Locate the file you want to download, put your cursor over the top of the file name, right click over the file name, a menu pops up, select "Save Link as" in Firefox browser, or "Save File as" in Internet Explorer, a small Microsoft Explorer window pops up that allows you to put the file on your computer wherever you like.

that was a message to prost ... click on his link and you can download ar-mmpds-01.

i think you can answer your own question about your link ... if it doesn't work, it doesn't work ! being slightly less smart, you probably mean the report (ar-mmpds) ... i think this is available for a small bag of money from battelle (as der8110 posted).
