Hi everyone,

I had a question regarding XY data extraction for multiple nodes:

To make things clear, currently I am looking for the displacement of a certain Unique Node which I select from the viewport. I have 8 nodes that I want to collect displacement data from for each simulation I am running. However this is very time consuming and I would like to know if there is a way to select all 8 nodes that I want to analyse (I have the node numbers as well (i.e. node 6,11 etc)), thus giving me the displacement info in a .rpt file for all 8 nodes?

Thank you for very much for reading through my question, I hope I was clear enough to get across my question in full detail.

Press node selection and from there by pressing shift you can add the nodes you want to your selection. (Instead of pick from viewport)

Hi guys I figured out my own problem.

Use the Node Label section instead of picking from viewport if you have the the node numbers, then just select the nodes you like next to your Part (1,2,3,7,100 etc.)

Saves time and is more accurate.

Cheers.

hi abqnubian

there is an easier way to do that:

go the assembly on your model tree and create Set of these nodes then u can get the displacement of all the nodes by choosing that set of nodes from field output.
