This is a little off the NFPA topic but I don't know where else to ask.

Where I have always worked and submitted plans the AHJ's only required my signature to be on the drawings but not on calculations or submittals.

what I would like to know is if this, is pretty standard in the jurisdictions that you've operated in.

This is variable from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Very rare to have to put NICET info on data sheets. Always on drawings. Less than 50% on calcs, but not uncommon.

I have a title block area with my name, certification field, nicet cert # and expiration date that I use.

I've never provided nicet anything in regards to calculations or material data.

The reason I am asking is I have a very good customer that inquired to me why I didn't put my signature and number on hydraulic calculations.

My answer was that I've just never done it it's not a problem to do it but it's something that's never been requested of me before.

For 15 years I have submitted drawings and calculations to nearly every AHJ in Georgia probably hundreds of drawings. Other jurisdictions include Vermont, Ohio and Colorado and I have never been asked for anything NICET on the calculations or submittal package.
