Hi;
I am analysing a 3D composite pressure vessel with ansys.I use shell 99 elements and want to know max. tsai-wu failure criterian.for material properties i have seen composite handbooks and there is only properties in directon 1,2 and 1-2 but there is not anything mentioned for direction 3.It is necesary for ansys to enter at least Ez and Ztenstrs which are indirection 3, otherwise it can not solve the problem.what should i do.is ut correct to enter properties in direction 2(in-plane off-axis) for directon 3(out of plane).can i put other 3 direction properties blank.is it correct.any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
