I am trying to run a adhesive bonded aluminum laminate lap joints with a three fastners in it.
***The Element type for adhesive aluminum Plate is C3D8I and for fastners C3D8R.
***Two different steps one for the load and one for the Bolt load since i need to give pretension surface for the fastners.
***Two different interaction prop for plate to plate & plate to fastner
***Gave Interactions under intial step like three interactions for each fastner and plate to plate(fastner top flange to plate top surface, fastners bottom flange to plate bottom surface and plate hole and bolt cylinder).
****Interactions are under intial step > surface to surface contact > small sliding w.r.t interaction property.

when I see the odb file i could zero stress values in the plate and zero contact pressure. I gave the required tensile force but still got the same result...?
your suggestion will help me a lot

The force must go somewhere, unless the job never ran. Check to make sure it finished otherwise stresses everywhere will be zero.
