Zick Analysis Saddle

Can somebody explain to me why in PV-Elite calculation for saddle stress analysis is as per ASME VIII Div 2. The pressure vessel is designed as per code Div 1.

Because you selected to do so. You can also select the Zick method.

I think Mr. Akulabest want's to know, why ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 is not talking about saddle calculation? This is the reason, saddle calculation are being done as per ASME Sec. VIII Div. 2 (based on the Zick method)in PV-Elite, even though he is designing as per Div 1.

Zick method is an independent method of calculating saddle stress, which is included in div II.
