Zn Plate coatings and touch ups

Hi

I have a Mild steel plate which on the drawing says the Finish is "Zn Plate & Passivated (Clear)". I noticed a problem with the C/bore holes and therefore I need to make it deeper which will remove the coating. To re-apply the coating can I just get zinc gal bottles? or Zinc brush plating kit.

Now I am bit confused about what is Zinc passivation and Zinc phosphate coating and electroplating Zinc and hot dip galvanizing Zinc? Google is also bit confusing as different regions call it differently.

What will be your ultimate finish topcoat (or exposure), and what is your final (in use and in-construction) environments and requirements?

Passivation should be not severe and the coating metal should be Zn.
