Our company is considering purchasing a new, general- purpose, structural analysis program. We do mainly industrial and commercial buildings, foundations, slabs, platforms, mezzanines, etc. The company I previously worked for used "Visual Analysis." Our experiences with it were good; however, I have tried the demo versions of several others, and would be interested in soliciting other engineers' opinions as to their favorites. This software is so expensive that it pays to survey the field to see what opinions others have concerning applicability, adaptability, and ease of use of these programs.

Thanks again to all for your comments.
