Smooth edges of routing objects not shown

Guys,
We have our own created routing objects in NX10, they do work fine except for this one tiny little annoying thing.

the smooth edges are not visible (or not there at all) as well as in modeling environment as in drafting environment. obvious the visual settings are set this way that the option to show smooth edges is checked. the smooth edges of an extrude besides this routing object do show.... so i think it has something to do with some settings of the created routing parts.

does somebody has an idea what this can be?!

In drafting, maybe a view update of all the views will help.
Also check the color and font of the smooth edges so they are not set to something that may appear invisible to you, such as the color of the smooth edge being the same color as the background.

I could be stating the obvious to you but if your routing curves/paths are continuous splines, you won't have any smooth edges.

Are the visualization settings of the routing parts set to show smooth edges in all views?

@wheelguy: not sure which settings you mean.... do you mean the general visualization settings? (see att)
these are not particularly settings for routing objects right? Or do you mean something else?
(btw these settings are set in such way that the smooth edges are visible in all the views)

Nope, those are the settings to which I was referring. I'm stumped - unless it's a routing object setting.

what NX version ?

place the cursor on top of one of these routing components, - wait until the cue line says ....
click when you have the three dots next to the cursor
what does the list show ?
Faceted body ?

Can you provide a screendump of one of these components ?
or better a example partfile ?

Hi,
It is indeed a case with steel stock also (try doing a T section stock ) for steel discipline.
I will let you know if i find something valuable.

The Stock is created as a sweep and i am not able to select any of the blend faces (it selects the complete faces as a whole if you try applying any synchronous operation on it).

I am using NX10 without TC.

first sketch is created, routing lines applied on these sketch lines by means of the 'connected curves' function.
stock is selected and applied on the routing line. result is a stock part without any smooth edges.

att. a model of the problem...

Does anybody , In NX10, using Routing Mechanical - steelwork, get separate faces ?
When i try creating steelwork routing , i get a single Nurbs face on the sides of the H-beam ( exactly as the uploaded example above), In NX 8.5 i got 5 faces per side.

I think this is case for Gtac.

Tomas
