Not sure if this is the right subforum, but one of my direct reports is leaving because management wouldnt give a raise. So now I am getting tasked with preparing a req for the replacement (which I am happy about because last time they hired in somebody who was not a good fit)

So I have the tasks, skills et cetera down, but the only thing I need now is a salary range.

I used to look at the ASME Salary survey and some other sites like payscale and glassdoor, but I cant seem to find the ASME salary survey anymore. If I remember correctly, it used to be a free PDF download.

Am I going crazy in my old age? lol

Thanks

It was never free as I recall but some older copies were floating around the interwebs. Possibly deleted now if they were going around ASCE's copyright. Given the age of that version anyway it's probably not the most applicable and best to purchase the latest one from ASCE.

ASME, not Civil, but you are probably right, I may be remembering the time when my old job paid for my ASME membership

The surveys are often free if you submitted data.

SPE has one.

Machine Design has one.

Your local department of labor will also have data.
