I have reviewed UG-119 in Section VIII, and it states that the nameplate must be visible (in the context of the vessel product).
In the context of a system, I have a small vessel that I need to clamp to a unistrut, and the clamp will obscure the nameplate.

Is this an acceptable design, and if it is, is there anywhere in the code that allows it?

The nameplate loaes its purpose if it loses its visibility.

Van you post a photo or sketch of the issue?? We quite often have very small vessels too, and strut. Perhaps I can tell from similar experience

- You never get what you expect, you only get what you inspect.

In the past, the Inspector requested to move the name tag to the other location for a clear visibility.
