What is the advantage of using SHOW IN ISOLATE WINDOW and OPEN IN WINDOW?
Both are available when the user RMCs on the component in the Assembly Navigator.

Hello jerry1423,

OPEN IN WINDOWS opens one component in new window for edit it.
OPEN IN ISOLATE WINDOWS isolates two or more component in new window.
(You are still in assemby, but you see only selected components)
The second option is very useful when You have assemby with many component and You need check only a few of then.

Thank you MANok very much for the reply,
So, if I want to view three components in a new window, I should highlight those three components in the navigation tree and OPEN IN ISOLATE WINDOW ?

Hello jerry1423.

Exactly, yes.

One warning: if You save assembly when isolate window is open, and close it (assembly), after next open, You will see only part, which was in isolate window, and You will not be able to show rest of components.
(I don't know why, but sometimes you get shocked).
My way to show all component: select all components in assembly nawigator, click - open in isolate window, and save.
Maybe is better solution, but I don't know it.

The "show in isolate window" creates a new model view (usually named "isolate"). To get your normal view back with all the components, change the current model view.
