Hi! What you are looking for is not available sadly in part infrastructure.
The Dynamic Sectioning icon

is available but you can't save the result as in assembly.

If you want to save sections in part design, you must enable FTA - Functional tolerance & analysis license in order to make views, annotations, section cuts.

These will be saved in the model tree under annotation set. Do not fear because without FTA you can toggle the cut again with Edit Filter. Remove clipping plane disables the cut.

I hope this helped.

Hi, the problem is that the icon dynamic sectioning was present till some days ago in Mechanical Design > Part Design, suddenly is disappear and i can't to find it again! I work in Mechanical Design > Part Design

check to see if your toolbar for Dynamic section is toggled on.
If you work with multiple screens sometimes the toolbars move to a different screen.
If it is on, toggle it a few times and watch.
Sometimes you get an arrow on bottom right in which you have too many icons, then you need to move some toolbars around.
otherwise, delete your catsettings (loose all your modifications, etc.) and then it should be as it was installed.

It's best practice to lock your toolbars when you finished setting them. Move the frequent ones to the upper places where they won't go missing in case of a screen change.

Hi, i just tried to activate all the icons but dynamic sectioning doesn't appear... i would like to delete the catsettings but i'don't understand how i have to do exactly... there are a lot of catsettings in the folder.. I'm afraid of doing damage by deleting them all, which is the right procedure?
Thank you!
