The gearbox with double helical gears are rotating at peripheral velocity of 80 m/s and the oil is supplied to the gears at the outmesh. The lubricantion oil ISO VG mineral oil. How to calculate the optimum gear mesh oil to the meshing area? How much is the bulk tooth temperature is allowable?
