I'm close to purchasing a vibration tester for doing rounds, and am considering Adash's signal analyzer box, and using a tablet for the interface. This is around 18k or so, I chose this route instead of going with emerson's AMS 2140 mainly due to not having enough funds for the AMS and that Adash software subscription is a one time fee instead of a annual expense. Any thoughts on other ideal options? I have around 100 pump motor combo's most less than 20hp.

Vibration Specialties SV3X is a very capable tool and much less expensive than the 2140.

We use 2140s and I'm not familiar with other brands (I'd defer to geesaman.d's recommendation).

I would suggest consider asking at
That's a great forum with a lot of active professionals who specialize in vibration monitoring of rotating machinery. I believe you would continue to find it a useful resource long after you buy your analyser. (I find it useful for asking questions about a particular machine with strange symptoms, or helping figure out some aspects of our analyser and software)
